La Maison Montessori Kingston offers three programs
Toddler
Preschool
Kindergarten Aged
We accepts students from 18 months to 6 years of age.
We offer full-day programs for both the pre-casa (toddler) and casa (preschool) classes.
Preschool aged students must be toilet trained.
Early Morning Care: 8:00 – 8:30
School Day: 9:00 – 4:00
After School Care: 4:00 – 5:00

For our daughter the transition to a new place of care was difficult but LMMK staff and management made sure that she and we, as her parents, had our needs met. Mme. Deepa Mansharamani, the new owner has been extremely responsive to our needs; we never feel that she does not have time for us or our questions.
Mme. Deepa’s leadership has created a positive work environment for her staff (including volunteers and placement students) which is demonstrated to us on a daily basis. C and T
In-House Music Program
La Maison Montessori Kingston proudly offers an in-house music program led by Larissa Koniuk, read more about Larissa on her website.
Interested in more music for you and your child? Cantabile is offering a Parent & Tot Music program this spring.
Enrolment
La Maison Montessori does require a non-refundable $500.00 administration fee for new students and $300.00 for returning students.
All of our new students will undergo a planned transition period when starting at La Maison to ensure success, sense of belonging, security, and an introduction to our school’s routines/structure.
Some documents that a family can have prepared in advance are: up-to-date immunization records, emergency contact information, etc.
Registration and space are confirmed once:
- administration fee is paid in full;
- enrolment package is completed in its entirety and proof of immunization records is provided.
Please note that the enrolment package must be presented to La Maison Montessori in hard-copy format.
Waiting List
To be placed on La Maison waiting list please register on the City of Kingston’s Centralized Child Care Registry and Information Service.
Tour La Maison Montessori
Though not required, a tour of our school is recommended. During the tour, we will familiarize you with foundations of Montessori philosophy. Please contact the Director to schedule a tour.
Due to the continued spread of COVID-19, La Maison Montessori requests you to please bring and wear a mask during tours. We request you to reschedule a tour if unwell.
Tuition 2023 – 2024 School Year
Tuition fees go towards:
- Montessori Resources (replacing, maintaining, and new)
- Supplies for hands-on learning
- Staff salaries: teachers, assistants, chef, caretaker
- Staff training
- La Maison’s school building maintenance
- Our school grounds
- High quality and quantity of nutritious meals
- Utilities such as: water, electricity, etc.
Monthly tuition is calculated as such:
Total number of school days (including Professional Development days, Salutatory Holidays) divided by 12 months resulting in a consistent tuition fee allowing families to budget each month and allowing La Maison incoming revenue.

Extended Care
Minimum of 24-hour notice and advance payment
8:00 am to 8:30 am

La Maison Montessori has not opted-in to receive Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care support from the Government and can therefore not offer $10.00 per day care.
